Arlethia Hailstock, Co-Owner and Director
After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a double major in
English from Wake Forest University, Arlethia spent ten years living and working
in different areas of the country. She spent some time working in sales and
marketing before finding her true calling. As an Actor/Educator, Arlethia
performed in theatrical productions presented in various schools throughout the
Denver, Colorado metro area. She taught health using performing and visual
arts, as well as co-directing a theatre production, featuring high school
students, which toured to middle schools in some of Denver’s low-income,
high-crime areas. Arlethia also led workshops on team-building and
communications in various settings including schools, juvenile lock-down
facilities and community organizations. Together, Tim and Arlethia chose to
start A-Team Tutoring as a way to remain connected to the field of education
while spending more time with family. Originally from Winston-Salem, Arlethia
is a married mother of two boys, ages five and four.

Tim Hailstock, Co-Owner
After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Wake Forest
University, where he also played defensive back for the Demon Deacon football
team, Tim has spent the last 13 years working in the financial services industry.
Just after graduation, he joined the Credit Card Operations team for a major
retailer as a Manager Trainee where he received an early promotion for his first
assignment. Tim then continued on as a manager and project manager for
other banks and technology companies servicing the credit and financial
industries. Throughout college and his professional career, Tim has
volunteered to give back to the community through different non-profit
organizations. Tim is currently a Project Manager for Citigroup and in the
summer of 2009, completed his MBA at Pfeiffer University. Originally from
Danville, VA, Tim is a married father of two boys, ages five and four.

All A-Team tutors have undergone an extensive background check and
interview process. Most A-Team tutors are certified teachers currently working
in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg, Fort Mill or Clover School Districts. Others are
retired teachers or graduate students pursuing a Master's Degree in the
subject area in which they tutor. All tutors are Independent Contractors and are
not employees of A-Team Tutoring.
